Black History Month in South Park - an African mask appears on the back wall next to the numbers. Also, Chef gives Kyle a box of Whitey's Washing Detergent when he stops by to introduce himself to Ms. Ellen.
There is hope! On the board behind the operating table are such noses as Dictator, Trump, Hooker, and Artist, but the first time the board is seen, it is upside down. An elephant trunk and tusks are attached to a human face on the picture on the wall in the recovery room
The kids say nothing when Chef greets them on the playground. Usually they respond with "Hey, Chef."
When Wendy thinks of her times with Stan we see a moment when she's at football practice cheering for him. This could be an outtake from Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride
The woman who sings Wendy's theme is Courtney Ford, and she was an extra in BASEketball.

Damn, that is one happy scorekeeper! Trey thought she was really hot. :)
You guys are so immature! Act like eight-year olds! - Bebe, in response to Cartman's eagerness. Cartman is nine now: he must be really immature. Also, his gloves are off.
Chef sings his first clean song, No Substitute.
Look for blinking pictures of aliens on the pegboard in the back of the class.

Ms. Ellen is the first school official to call Cartman by his last name, rather than his first. But then, she's just a substitute teacher.
The Magic Mirror - Mr. Garrison's reflection should have had Mr. Hat appearing on the left hand, not on the right.
Wendy's theme music is heard in the unaired pilot (Kyle talks to the aliens) and in Pink Eye (Wendy recovers from zombiehood and finds herself in Stan's hands). "Memories" was to have been the background music in Wendy's montage.
Wendy's house number is 28201. A number this large can be found in Los Angeles, but not in a small town.
Wow. Wendy looks just like that chick from Grease, Elton John - uh, that's Olivia Newton-John, Cartman.
A photo of a swimsuit model is on a bulletin board next to the classroom door.
Two photos appear behind the photographer in the Photo Dojo. The first is of Trey dressed in a woman's wedding outfit. The second is of Dian Bachar dressed as a cowboy, from Cannibal! The Musical, where he is one of the miners who have to make their way to Breckenridge.
Now we know who the character was that appeared in Damien at the weigh-in next to the priest - the Photo Dojo photographer.
Wendy comes to class dressed in black leather. So does Ms. Ellen. When Mr. Garrison returns to tell the class he's going to quit teaching, Wendy is in her seat dressed as usual. When Stan talks, she's in black leather again.
Okay, children, let's catch up on our cursive handwriting. - a redundancy. Handwriting is, by nature, cursive (it is designed to course from the hand without interruption, at least until the word is complete). Of course, cursive could mean vulgar…
So! We meet again, Ms. Ellen! - paraphrase of Ho ho ho! We meet again, Jesus!, from The Spirit of Christmas
Wow. What incredible irony. - in The Spirit of Christmas, what Kyle says when Brian Boitano appears, seemingly in answer to his question, "what would Brian Boitano do?" Wendy says this because the soldiers have seemingly carried out her unspoken wish: to get rid of Ms. Ellen somehow.
Stan doesn't throw up when Wendy talks to him until the end of the show. But when he does, he pukes in her mouth. Also, his vomit comes out green in some scenes, pink in others. Cartman is right: Stan does throw up when he's in love, no matter who he's in love with. And Stan was really in love when he smiled that wavy smile. He had never smiled like that for Wendy, and that set her off.
The presence of Mrs. Campbell and the Iraqi soldiers at Wendy's pool party suggests a master plan. While Ms. Ellen was in town, Stan and the other boys had a crush on her. Wendy was being ignored, and the more it went on, the less she put up with it, until Ms. Ellen showed up in black leather, just as she did. Wendy hired the soldiers to take Ms. Ellen out of the classroom and launch her to the center of the sun, just as she had told Bebe she would like to do. She then had Mrs. Campbell mobilize the ladies of South Park to mob Mr. Garrison until he couldn't take it anymore and wanted to be his old self. With Ms. Ellen gone and Mr. Garrison back, she has Stan all to herself again. But oh, what she'll do to make things the way they were! Don't fuck with Wendy Testaberger!
we just got a call in the office: your grandma just died. - from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, when Ferris gets his girlfriend Simone out of school.
Ms. Ellen must have seen Dangerous Minds, as she took the highest-scoring student out to dinner. Then again, some teachers do dine out with their best students while others take the whole class, but usually when the students are in high school, not elementary school.
