Six videos are seen in the drawer as Ms. Crabtree opens it. Two of them are videos 31 and 35 of the guidebook, and two others are the Stallone movies, Over The Top (Over The Top Of The Waterfall) and Stop, Or My Mom Will Shoot (Quiet, Or Ms. Crabtree Will Shoot The Bunny).
Why does the video trainer say "Welcome to tape 7 of the bus driver's video guidebook" when it was tape #35 that Ms. Crabtree pulled out?
The truck driver - Elvis Presley. Here, he is a roofies distributor.
Roofies - rohypnol (put the p before the h, take out the -nol, and double up the remaining o, then replace ph with f)
How did the kids figure the big scary monster would be black before they ever see it? It could have been brown, gray, dark green, any dark shade imaginable.
The boy in the red shirt - notice the A on the shirt? In the original Star Trek series, the ensigns wore red shirts, and several would always be in the landing party with Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Scotty as security detail. One of these would die in every episode, usually after fighting or investigating an alien life form. This is the basis for Kenny's dying in most every episode of South Park. And Star Trek fans like to be know as Trekkers.
As the kids get back in their seats after the Trekker's body returns to the bus, Wendy and Kyle seem to be sharing a seat (you can see only their hats). Stan goes and sits next to them so that Kyle sits between Stan and Wendy. But in the next scene you only see Stan and Kyle. But earlier, after the Trekker has left the bus, the kids on the right side of the bus cross over to the left side. At the back end, Wendy crosses over behind Jordan. And for some reason, the redhead's right eye hangs over the seat in front of her. Very disconcerting.
In Cartman's dream Stan and Wendy get to kiss - twice. Once, after the aliens land and get some ice cream. The seond time, after Mr Garrison exposes Kathie Lee Gifford as an alien.
Carrot Ass - Carrot Top, who promoted his movie Chairman Of The Board by baring his ass and sitting on a copier. All that the copier produced was pictures of carrots.
Liane hides her penis well.
Marty has pictures of Carrot Ass, Leonard Maltin, and Kathie Lee Gifford around his office. He also has statuettes of Orgazmo on a shelf next to the window.
When Kyle looks out the back window, a reflection of the dark canyon below can be seen on the window. But the bus was in no position to make that reflection possible. If it were, it would be falling.
Among the pictures of the missing children is an actual one - of Macaulay Culkin. And Cartman's mom is handing out posters of Cartman that say "Needs Food Soon."
Each of the four boys has a memory to share, a tale to tell. Like Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. In Kyle's Tale, Scuzzlebutt's left leg changes from Patrick Duffy to Brent Musberger. Literally.
Three of the tales end in one of the kids eating ice cream. In order, the flavors are chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. Neapolitan!
The scene of the bus breaking in half and the boy falling out through the rear window is derived from Jurassic Park, when the dinosaurs had pushed the trailers almost over the cliff. The lead actors hold on to the interior of the rear trailer as debris falls past them and out the back window and door. The same effect is shown in Titanic, when passengers let go of railings and fall to their deaths (note that the bus, like the ship, has split in two, with the scary black monster being the iceberg).
Kenny just died eight hours ago from that monster; how could he have died back then, too? - Oh, yeah. How could he die every week and come back to die again? And Happy Days was off the air five or six years before any of the boys were born.
Speaking of Kenny... When the bus begins to slip off the edge of the cliff, the side view of the bus has Kenny in his seat looking outside (the shot is the same one used when Ms. Crabtree left the bus in the first place). The next scene switches abruptly to night, and Kenny is no longer on the bus. Besides, Kenny appears on the bus again when the bus lands on the giant vat of ice cream, even though the Scary Monster had eaten him the night before. But then, it's just a dream…
Now we need more weight in the back. - when the back of the bus is in danger of falling off the precipice, why would you want more weight back there?
BLOOPER - In the scene when Clyde and the red-haired girl finally stabilize the bus, they are running back to the front, but the seats are facing down, implying that the front of the bus was facing the canyon, not the back. See?

Must have something to do with the preceding observation.
The New Barnaby Jones - Why not? The networks have brought new incarnations of Star Trek, Kung Fu, The Love Boat, and even the Ed Sullivan Show (with cyberhost), and will bring back Fantasy Island (without a sidekick).
Mr. Garrison shows up in the parents' video. He really is as concerned for his students as any parent is for his or her child. The video itself echoes We Are The World, the song and video made in the mid-1980's that touched off a series of rock campaigns for relief to starving areas in Africa and around the world (Live Aid, Farm Aid, etc. Comic Relief followed in the same vein).
When Gerald Broflovski sings, Kyle puts his hands up to his face in embarassment, but his gloves are off. Before and after, though, his gloves are on.
BLOOPER 2 - When the kids land in the ice cream bucket, they end up in their original seats, and Kenny is present once again. So is Cartman's cake tin. Also, although the bus has been split in two, the floor shows continuity from front to back, as if it had not been split at all. Compare:

Ms. Crabtree doesn't quite know the truck driver's name (Mitch or Marcus?), but she settles on Marcus.
