Butters' costume looke like that of the X-Men's Magneto (shown below), only aluminum isn't magnetic, and he took Professor X's name.

Jason is Jason McHugh, who was Frank Miller in Cannibal! The Musical and part of the porno crew in Orgazmo. He was also one of the two Hasidic kids seen in cafeteria shots in the first season.
BLOOPER - When Luigi is called up, Damian is seen holding a rose. Just before Kyle announces Tweek, Damian's rose is gone. Just after Kyle announces Tweek, Damian and Dog Poo can each be seen holding a rose, making 12 total who pass the general friendship round. But when the others are dismissed, Damian and Dog Poo walk off as well.
The friend selection process is a parody of "The Bachelor," complete with roses.
Bebe was pissed she didn't make it past the first round.
Loogie is renamed Luigi, which makes sense.
Things that would have disqualified Butters had he been in the running: He doesn't cheat, so he's not one to give the other boys answers. He doesn't belittle people, as the other boys belittle each other all the time. He's too gentle to go along with their attitude.
Butters has two posters on his door in this ep. One is of a guy playing a guitar, the other is of Orgazmo (seen when his mom delivers to him the letter she found at the door).
I'm surprised Craig wasn't more in tune with the boys. His flipping off people could've come in handy.
The school bathroom? I suppose all the class bathrooms have been removed. Dougie is only in second grade and has to use the school bathroom while the former third graders had their own bathroom in class.
The background music they used for the swimsuit and talent competition sounds much like the "F*R*I*E*N*D*S" theme - the elimination round here is a beauty pageant.
What's Towelie doing wearing a bra top? Is Towelie female? No, the boys refer to Towelie as male later on.
Why is Pip missing from the six finalists on stage (before he was dismissed at the baseball game)? And why was his picture still among the six pics when the three other boys were deliberating, since he was dismissed already?
Jimmy's picture goes black when the camera closes in on him after he arrives with a gift basket. Others say the picture turns around to display correctly, then goes back upside down when Jimmy leaves.
Butters just doesn't get the reactions he expects from his missions of chaos. This can be seen most clearly at the baseball game, when everyone there strips after being told the world will be flooded.
"Four friends, just one rose." — This refers to the fact that the rose is to go to the boys' new friend, the one to make the group four again. There are five candidates present, true, but none of them were their friend yet.
